Regional Medical Center & the Health Sciences Building

To meet Israel’s critical shortage of physicians and other health professionals, Ariel University is focusing on the establishment of a medical school, aided by the generous support of the Adelson Family Foundation. The medical school will be complemented by a new Regional Medical Center (RMC), which will be the first of its kind in the area, and will provide top-notch health services , not only to the residents of Ariel, but also to all residents of the region.

The RMC will house facilities for emergency medicine and a variety of other health related services. Students from the various departments of the School of Health Sciences will receive on-site training and learn how to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations, giving them real hands-on training. The Health Sciences Building will include classrooms, auditoriums, seminar rooms, and faculty and administration offices. Although some clinics already offer paramedical services to residents of the region, they are scattered around the university in makeshift locations. The new RMC will centralize all facets of health sciences and medical study and patient care.
